Fresh vegetables

Our vegetables are seasonal and we grow everything outdoors, organically ofcourse. We use acroecology to create favourable conditions and shelter from the northern wind.  We grow lettuce, cabbage, root vegetables, potatos and many types of herbs and edible flowers.  We search for flavour in Icelandic nature and collect typical herbs for our health and to enrich our local cuisine. Weekly Móðir Jörð supplies many of the best restaurants in Iceland with a wide range of vegetables, herbs, mushrooms and berries.
